Waterside Taekwondo Club was opened in 1991. The Club started at Hardley School on a Wednesday evening, which continued there for 3 years. Waterside is strong community covering areas from Langley to Totton.

Recently the club have expanded even further to Ringwood, Lymington and Brockenhurst which will help to find more students to take part in tournaments and gradings towards a blackbelt.

We have now opened up a Tigers Club which will be targeting the younger children that would like to have the chance to learn this great martial art.

The Club won many trophies including the Best Club Trophy for 1997,1998,1999 for the Southern Chungdokwan Championships, also it has produced many fighters that hold the title of Southern and National champions over the years. Waterside Taekwondo Club are members of Chungdokwan who are Proud to be represented by Grandmaster Hae Man Parks 10th Dan. Also Master Vincent Cheong 8th Dan, who is our Honoree President.

Chungdokwan are recognised around the World and can boast some great names in World Taekwondo including Master Lindsey Lawrence,Master Bob Kampta, Master Brima Johnson, Master Mark Biddlecombe, Master Mark Sargent and Master Graham Jones.
